I had a plan. It’s a good thing I had a plan because if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have done anything today. I did manage to get through most of the plan, but I had to fight the anxiety monster again. I got moving later than usual so there were more people in the gym. Someone was on the machine I wanted to use first, so I went to the end of the workout list instead so I wasn’t completely out of order, but just going backwards. Then even more people came in and the last machine I needed kept getting taken, so I had to walk across the gym to another section that I don’t normally use to get the lat pulldowns done. I was going to get some elliptical or treadmill time in as well, but I was totally thrown off by having to use a different machine in a different area with all these people I didn’t recognize that I was on the verge of a panic attack, so I called it quits for the day. It took 20 minutes, lots of water and a snack for me to stop shaking enough that I could drive home and it threw off my entire day. The excessive heat certainly did not help. Today’s high was 92F.
