I rescued TWO cicadas this week! The first one was on my car under the wipers and it was all wet and afraid. I knew it wasn’t going to stay alive much longer if it stayed there, so I moved it to safety in the little shrub next to my parking space.

The second one was actually found by Void. She was walking out of school and stopped to look at it. It was on the sidewalk upside down and she thought it was dead, but I think it was just stuck. So I picked it up and put it up in a little tree by the office. I’m sure the ladies in there were confused as to what the heck I was doing, but that’s okay.

I saved two lives this week 🙂
