A week without exercise

Basically I haven’t done anything in a week. I took Friday off to go to the grocery store and get some extra supplies due to the Covid-19 pandemic shutting down our schools for a month. I figured everyone would panic buy and boy was I right! Thankfully we are doing okay over here and everyone is staying healthy.

I expect it’s only a matter of time, but so far there are confirmed cases in the surrounding counties but not here. Yet.


All restaurants, bars, and gyms have shut down for the foreseeable future, so I sort of went into anxiety panic overload mode and started emotionally eating and fell off my routine/schedule because literally everything I do on a weekly basis has gone away.

I finally decided that enough is enough, went and bought a yoga mat so I can set up a home workout area. I have some hand weights, kettlebells, wrist and ankle weights, a medicine ball, resistance bands, and a step. This should be enough to get me started on … something.

Now I just have to figure out an at home routine and stick to it.
